Meet the Veterinarian

 Dr. Hoover is a native Tucsonan. He went to Saguaro High School, the University of Arizona, and then received his doctorate from Colorado State University in 1994. He opened Wellhorse, LLC in 1995 to serve the equine community.

Feeling there was much more to be learned, for additional training, Dr. Hoover went back to school in 2001 and became certified in equine chiropractic. Through the years, he has worked on many horses and many disciplines, including Arabians, dressage, cross country, hunter jumper, and western performance horses.

 Dr. Hoover enjoys giving back to the community by providing lectures and hands on demonstrations for clients. 

Dr. Hoover has four adult children that were all born and raised in Tucson. He has been married for the past thirty years to Rosemary. In addition to horses and cows, Dr. Hoover has many dogs, goats, and a cat at his place.
